NOTES ON PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS FOR GOING TO CAMBODIA

When exiting Vietnam and entering Cambodia via land, make sure that:

• Your passport is valid for at least 6 months.
• The information on your passport is accurate.

Prepare the required Cambodia visas if your country is not on the visa-exempt list (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Brunei). Visa exemption periods vary from 14 to 30 days depending on the country.

Vietnamese citizens are exempt from visas when entering Cambodia for a maximum stay of 30 days. If you wish to stay longer, you must apply for a visa or extend your stay through Cambodian authorities.

Travelers from many countries can apply for an E-visa (electronic visa) online via Cambodia’s official government system.

Visas can also be applied directly at border gate, you just need to prepare money.
